Фермент, осуществляющий синтез РНК-затравки для последующего синтеза фрагментов Оказаки Okazaki fragments, а также синтез РНК-затравок в процессе синтеза репликативной формы replicative form ДНК бактериофагов; у E.coli кодируется геном dnaG, ее молекулярная масса составляет 60 кД; у эукариот ДНК-п. является субъединицей ДНК-полимеразы DNA polymerase; в отличие от обычных РНК-полимераз ДНК-п. способна использовать в качестве субстрата как рибо-, так и дезоксирибонуклеотиды; образует комплекс с другими ферментами - праймосому primosome.* * *ДНК-праймаза — фермент, осуществляющий синтез РНК-праймера (см. Праймер), необходимого для синтеза фрагментов Оказаки, а также синтез РНК-праймеров в процессе синтеза репликативной формы ДНК бактериофагов. У E. coli ДНК-п. кодируется геном dna C (М. м. 60 кД). У эукариот ДНК-п. — это субъединица αДНК-полимеразы (см. ДНК-зависимая ДНК-полимераза). ДНК-п. отличается от обычных РНК-полимераз тем, что способна использовать в качестве субстрата как рибо-, так и дезоксирибонуклеотиды.
